Lately, the difference between these kinds of devices is getting thinner by integrating technology.

One of the probably most interesting is the combined online library, called, coincidentally, BookPlace. At present, there are about 43,000 titles that will soon be at an altitude of 100,000 (by March). This detail makes it almost the largest online store of e-books in Japan. Users can thus easily download any book of their choice and utility. The store is organized into categories and it is quite easy to find the right one.

Toshiba BookPlace DB50, which measures about 190 × 120 × 11mm and weighs 330g, will cost 22,000 yen, or about 216 euros at current exchange rates. The offer includes a credit of Toshiba’s 5,000 yen (48 euros) to spend in the library right BookPlace. We have no official news about the distribution of other international markets.
