The Difference Between the Laptop and Notebook


Many people often use the word notebook or laptop.  Not mean that every computer portable  in the table can be said to be a laptop or notebook, even if viewed from the configuration and specification. There is a large difference between laptop and notebook, and the following differences.

Notebook Features:
-Ultra-light weight
-Battery hold between 4 to 5 hours
-No internal floppy drive
-Graphics subsystem that is still minimal
-No internal DVD or CD, the CD-ROM drives via cable
-Diagonal screen size of 12 to 14 inch
-Thin or low-profile
-There is the integration of modem and network connection
-Keyboard is small, but still functioning well
-Power consumption, a more sparingly, especially for the style Celeron or -Pentium processor or Sempron
-Notebooks have a smaller and lighter than a laptop, or the so-called ‘Ultraportable’. Notebook is designed to provide mobile computing and the resistant rock can still provide power for the user job. Portability is also the ability in accordance with the price of slightly more expensive.

Laptop Features:
-Diagonal screen size of 15 to 17 inch (widescreen) TFT
-Subsystem has a graphics or Nvidia GeForce ATI Radeon
-There are DVD-ROM or DVD-RW drive or a removable internal CD-ROM
-Battery hold up to 3 hours
-Easy to upgrade
-Integration have a modem, network, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
-Integration of audio and high-quality speaker system
-Using less power consumption, high performance and style, especially for the Intel Centrino processor
-A laptop is designed to sit in the ‘lap’, although many parties who say it can not be done. Laptop form larger and filled with many features of the power. Laptops are designed to replace all desktop PC, if compared with desktop performance in a mobile platform.
