HP Envy 13 offered with a low-power processor Intel Core 2 Duo SL9300 1.6 GHz, accompanied by an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330. The rest of the configuration remains unchanged, and continue to be equipped with 3GB of DDR3 RAM and 250GB SATA hard drive, LCD screen 13-inch LED-backlit display and operating system Windows 7 Home Premium. The interface is supplied complete with 2 USB ports, HDMI, audio jack, Ethernet, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth.
Hewlett Packard announced a reduction of 30% of the price dell’ultraportatile Envy 13 from the previous $ 1,449 to the current $ 999 (equivalent to about € 750 at current exchange rates). This policy seems to suffer a phenomenon of consolidation and development of the sector is enjoying a tablet that happened more than adequate, so that several international producers have had to resort to a lockout policy of lower prices especially for the netbook segment.
The Envy 13 weighs just over five pounds. It’s highly portable, but far from the lightest 13″ notebook. It’s pretty thin though and most users should be able to easily tote it around all day. The Envy 13 comes standard with a single four-cell battery. A six-cell battery slice attaches to the bottom of the Envy 13. The slice battery is nearly seamless and allows for all-day computing and then some.
