Microsoft have launched an anti-malware services in beta for the public, that is, the Microsoft Security Essentials on Tuesday (23/06) tomorrow as a replacement from the initial phase LiveOneCare free. Microsoft Security Essentials can be run on Windows XP system, Vista, and Windows 7, and will be launched in the U.S., Brazil, Israel and the version in English and Brazilian Portuguese. While the software for the Microsoft Security Essentials with the Simplified Chinese language will be present at the end of this year.

Microsoft Security Essentials software or previously known by the name of Morro is a traditional anti-virus product for free as a monitoring program in the PC. When something changes made in the computer, such as downloading files or copy the software, or someone tries to modify the file, then this system Morro will check signatures to detect malware on the client program to see if the code matches the signature is known as malware. If the match, the system software is Microsoft Security Essentials will block files or programs that can not be downloaded by users.

If no malware signature database that match the Microsoft Security Essentials program, the system will be ping to the server Dynamic Signature Service to see if the signature is sought or not, and then me-remove malware. If the signature shown as malware, then the Dynamic Signature Service will ask for a sample code to create a new signature. Microsoft Security Essentials service will help protect the user from the rootkit, a program designed to hide the fact that the PC has been infected, and also designed to run effectively with the men-scan when the PC is idle and save memory usage.
