Finally, after Panasonic makes us wait for long, and rumors about a digital camera Lumix DMC-LX5 finally official info about this product to appear on the website Panasinic support. Not seen a huge change though LX5 new features 3.8x zoom with F2.0 aperture and ISO 80-12800, which is larger than its predecessor 2.5x zoom Lumix LX3 and ISO 80-3200 only. From the side LX5 design is also similar to the LX3.

Panasonic DMC is equipped with a CCD sensor LX5 10.1 Megapixel, equipped SUMMICRON F2.0 lens with 3.8x LEICA DC VARIO optical zoom, 4x digital zoom and 3-inch LCD display with AR coating. LX5 new camera also features Power OIS image stabilizer, Face Detection, Intelligent Exposure, Intelligent ISO Control, Face Recognition and Intelligent AUTO mode. LX5 Camera Lumix DMC is also able to record HD video in 1280 × 720 with 60fps frame until the AVCHD format Lite (lower bitrate H.264) and offers a mini HDMI output.

Panasonic Lumix LX5 memory can accept SD / SDHC / SDXC and supports VIERA Link. Pricing and availability have not been announced Lumix LX5. It comes in white and black. There are two types, namely DMC LX5W LX5 (white) and DMC LX5K (black).
