Panasonic announced a new digital camera DMC-G2 series Lumix G Micro System is a camera that can be controlled by touch alone. Panasonic Lumix G Micro System is a new generation camera systems in which release of the DMC-G1 is the first camera system with lenses that can be changed based on the standard Micro Four Thirds system reducing the physical size.

The camera can record video 1280 x 720 px in the H.264 format and Lite s AVCHD format, and can record images with 12 Mpx resolution Live MOS sensor technology and equipped elecronic viewvinder. This camera uses a second-generation Venus Engine HD II is capable of improving image quality. Available colors are black, blue and red and equipped kit 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 image-Stabilized lens.

LCD is very detailed camera because it has a dot resolution of 460,000 pixels with a 3-inch size and the 1,440,000-dot 1.4x (0.7x) for the Live View Finder
