Lenovo trying to get into the professional market with the launch of ultraportable ThinkPad X100e. The product is marketed at a price low enough, ie under $ 500. Uniquely, the new notebooks on the market USA is using AMD processors, rather using Pro VISION technology.

Equipped with the choices of Neo AMD Athlon single-core and dual-core processors and dual-core Turion. X100e also supports Microsoft Windows 7 Professional.

For wireless connectivity on the go, this laptop comes with 802.11n WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth and optional 3G.

ThinkPad X100e will be available around mid-January 2010 through Lenovo Business Partner with models that cost from $ 499.
