Asus has released a version still equipped with old processors Intel Sandy Bridge, but at present Asus K55DR have been updated, and the CPU Ivy Bridge for Intel-based versions, which the Trinity for the AMD APU.
The latter in particular offers the Asus K55DR particularly interesting at a price equal to 478.87 Euros. The proposed construction includes a 15.6-inch diagonal HD resolution 1366 x 768 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio, 300:1 contrast and luminance of 180 nits. The processor as said is a quad core AMD APU-4500 A8 to 1.9/2.8 GHz, the new family member Trinity, flanked by 4 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz RAM, expandable up to, however, up to 8 GB hard drive with 5400 RPM and 500 GB capacity and dedicated graphics card AMD Radeon HD 7670M with 1 GB of onboard memory.
The budget is then supplemented by an audio system with Altec Lansing speakers and SRS Premium Sound technology support, 0.3 Mpixel webcam, optical drive to DVD, card reader 4-in-1 USB 2.0 and 3.0, HDMI video outputs and VGA, Gigabit Ethernet LAN modules, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 and 6-cell lithium battery, all controlled by the operating system Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit of course.
