Advantages and Disadvantages of Archos 101 E 70 Internet Tablet (Review)

The Archos 101 Internet Tablet is positioned as a direct competitor to Apple iPad, presenting itself as a multi-accessorized. Archos 101 features a 10.1-inch display with 16:10 aspect ratio (so with the same display surface of a 9.7-inch screen and 4:3), but with a WSVGA resolution (1024 x 600 pixels) below the XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels). The display uses the same multi-gestures capacitive touchscreen technology, but uses a TN panel, which offers wide viewing angles less than the IPS panel iPad.
The hardware is represented by an ARM processor at 1GHz frequency equipped with a GPU OpenGL ES, a quantity not notified of RAM, 8GB or 16GB of data storage space. A webcam for video conferencing with Fring and a pair of stereo speakers complete the equipment. Archos 101 Internet Tablet will be shipped in October at a price of 300 euros with a capacity of 8GB and € 350 for the 16GB model.
Archos 70 Internet Tablet, as its name suggests, a more compact Archos 101. Except for its smaller screen with a diagonal 7 inch WVGA (854 x 480 pixels), with hard drives with different capacities, this device has exactly the same components as the Archos 101 and therefore the same functions. This model can integrate 8GB of flash memory for $ 250 or 250GB hard drive for 300 euros.
